Hi guys!
I'm sort of back. Kind of. For today, at least. I have mentioned the job and graduate school, yes?
On the plus side, I've been writing! Mostly original things, but I think the next chapter of Worldsmith will be done by next week, and after that, my life will hopefully have stabilized enough that I can produce new chapters semi-regularly

(you are much missed. :D)
But honestly, I'm not going to worry myself into a tizzy over it. I'm going to focus on making sure I have fun in fandom, and not fretting over fandom so much that it affects my real life. So I'll write what I love, talk to the many awesome people I love, dork out over what I love, and see where it all goes from there.
This. Have fun, and good luck with school. ♥♥♥

(It'll be nice to spend more than 15 minutes out of every 6 hours on LJ, though. LeechBlock, you are useful in making me stick to my hiatus, but I've missed a lot.)

Yeah, sometimes we need to take a step back and remember we're here in fandom to have fun. ♥
(ha ha. I myself have been more of in the peripherals of fandom lately, mostly reading/writing fic or posting art. Been ordered to take it easy after being in the accident, huuur)

I received my copy a week ago and was blown away by this story. It's really great to see this side of Russia.

Thanks so much! I like writing this side of him, too -- he's trained himself not to say so much, but there's a lot of stuff in the subtext if you know where to look. (Which not-so-coincidentally parallels the development of theatre in both Russia and America! ...I will shut up before I tl;dr about that, I promise.)

I was blown, completely with this story... I mean the way you described how Russia acted was just phenomenal...

So glad you enjoyed this story -- I love writing about acting, but conveying acting in prose can get tricky, because so much of acting's power lies in seeing the performance, I think, and words aren't always enough. But I'm glad this worked for you!

I think you conveyed fairly well. At the very least, I could picture the scene in my head well enough. It would be fun though to see in an actual performance. Maybe break out the cosplay and act it out?
