saying_yes_2010 is closing up shop in a little over 48 hours, HINT HINT, and I have discovered that, you know what, I really like running exchange-type things. Like a lot. I think there will be more rounds of Saying ( Read more... )

the internet is dead on saturday, challenge: saying yes!, life outside the internets, for great research!, and there was much rejoicing, awesome things by awesome people

Ah! So close to closing and I really wanted to try writing something! I better get on that. >3< And, unfortunately, I wouldn't be around for the other thing as the only few pairs I have any interest in in Hetalia are very main stream. (aka US/UK is all I really care about >_>) I hope it goes well, though!

Now to try and write some quick, crappy fills. xD

Yes, yes, do! *grins* And they can be very short fills, too! Just because I am incapable of writing short doesn't mean that other people aren't free to do so.

Ha, don't worry, I've been monoshippy before (although I usually tend to operate in everyone/everyone else OTP! mode). I just think it might be nice to give some less-exposed pairings some love, too, especially since when I write them, I get a lot of people commenting "omg, why isn't there more of this?" And thus.

/looks up GREs

So the scoring's a bit like SATs, then? Cool beans! :)

Future rounds sounds awesome, MAYBE I'LL BE MORE USEFUL IN THE FUTURE

Yep!

...actually, my GRE scores are the exact same as my SAT scores, I think. At least as far as verbal and quantitative go.

Hey, don't worry, life happens. ...unless you're me, in which case you're given all of January to sit on your arse. Sigh. Makes obsessive indexing easier, though.

I think I'm going through a post-Christmas exchange withdrawal (taking part in five exchanges turned out to be really fun); a rarepair exchange sounds great...since rare parings seem to be my singular passion at the moment.

I eagerly await the yea or nay on this.

Woohoo! I go back and forth on challenges, but I always have fun with exchanges -- you get to give other people things! Yay!

A rarepair exchange would be totally awesome. I'd vote for less than 300 members. and I point out that francexspain fits that criteria. ;D And I'd suppose pairings with no community would automatically qualify? (also, there's a few pairings that have multiple communities, I've noticed.)

300 might be a less headache-inducing cutoff, I think. And pairings with no community would automatically qualify, yeah. For the ones with multiples -- I'm trying to think which pairings have multiple comms. The only one coming to mind is RoChu, which, dearly as I love it, doesn't really make the rarepair cut.
