“If you order me to remain silent, I’ll do it,” Suzaku says.

Schneizel doesn’t smirk; he doesn’t need to. “Really. You’ll obey me as faithfully as you have your previous commanding officers?”

Suzaku remembers the reports of seditious activity carefully expunged from his records and says nothing, keeps his hands spread flat on the bed as instructed, clenches his jaw around the gag and nearly chokes on the thin strip of fabric when Schneizel’s fingers enter him, cold and probing and slick.

He stifles all the sounds he wants to make. He won’t let the gag do that for him.
