Eeeeouch! That looks pretty painful. I'd watch it close because that would be a nasty place for an abcess. Looks like he just got his eye missed. He'll probably be a bit lethargic for a couple of days before it starts to fester. I'd take him to the vet myself. Hope he gets to feeling better soon.

I had a good look at it today, no sign of infection, it seems to be healing very well. It does look at lot worse than it is. He is back on hunting form yesterday there were bits of mice in the untility room and this morning there was a dead shrew in the hall.

Oh, baby. He looks like he doesn't feel too good. He's lucky he didn't damage his eye.

I second the abcess warning. Kitty got them all the time, it is common in cats.

The cut is very close to his eye, he is lucky. It is healing up nicely no sign of infection or swelling and he is back out hunting.
