Another Monday morning hack down at the riding stables. A day of cold east wind versus warm sunshine; but the sunshine beginning to win - two hairy terriers and an elderly pointer sunbathing on the concrete outside the office

Glad you had a lovely day for a ride. It's too bad that Nan wasn't into cooperating or cantering today.
It must have been funny to see the naughty goat up on the trellis.

It was so nice to feel some warmth in the sun - a proper spring day at last!

That's the kind of riding I loved but it was usually difficult to achieve.

Re goat, I'm absolutely sure he wasn't supposed to be there! Goats have a knack of being able to get to places where they're not supposed to be.

I suppose the question is whether the goat belonged to the house, or whether he was on the neighbour's trellis...

Looking out of the window first thing and coming face to face with a goat could give you a bit of shock.
