Now that is gorgeous stained glass.
It reminded me of some windows we saw last year at Gloucester Cathedral, and it turns out to be the same artist.

It's a fabulous piece of glass, though I'm afraid this isn't a very good picture of it.

I love the few pieces of Thomas Denny's work that I've come across - a very subtle beauty, not overpowering in a tiny ancient church.

Yes! A lovely fluidity to the colours...

It's a wonderful window, subtle and golden from a distance, and full of mysterious detail seen close to. I wish I had a photo that did it proper justice.

According to a notice by the window, the artist chose to work in restrained colours so as to make the window fit harmoniously in a church with very little stained glass...
