After two days of rain

So much rain in the last few days. Whatever happened to that spell of good weather we always get when the kids go back to school

How I wish we could trade. You can have the 100+ degree temps and dry, choking polluted air with a tinge of wildfires. I'll take the rain!

I wish I could send a little of this excessive rain to someone who would truly appreciate it!

I like the rain. But the gloom that comes with it, less so. This morning it is so dark that I need the lights on to see what I'm doing.

I can imagine that--though it takes an effort, as I continue to hide from the merciless sun!

its called Indian summer in states or maybe it is later? what it is in english? sun lotto. well I am crossing my fingers for the good weather. and the longest most beautiful Indian summer

Yes, it's called an Indian Summer here in the UK, too, when we have a fine spell of warm sunshine in October.

September is usually quite a gentle month weatherwise. I don't know what we did to upset it this year.
