It was quite windy, so the dragonflies and butterflies were doing a lot of perching (always helpful to the photographer!)

I always admire your plant and insect photos. I suppose I ought to go out alone and experiment with different shots because when I'm out walking with my husband, I just have to pause for a moment to grab a shot that's caught my eye.

I'm quite lucky in that my friend C. is remarkably tolerant of me going "Er. Hang on. I've just got to take this shot..." But I do try not to take quite as many photos when I am out in company.
