Yes, the last stretch of the walk, in the sunshine, was lovely. Like I set off in winter and came back in spring.

My poor camera is not weather-sealed, but I put a plastic rain-sleeve on it, and it seems to have survived.

I was lucky enough to be living with a professional photographer for the 6 years I was living in Brooklyn, NYC. He would let me use any of his gear including the weather resistant stuff. I was out shooting in all kinds of weather. It was great!
