I'm so glad the photos came out, and that Mars was actually visible - I would have been so disappointed if I'd got up so early to lug a tripod into the forest for nothing!

I couldn't see Mars at all while I was taking the photos - just bright moonlight. I was so pleased when I got back and looked at the images in the computer, and Mars was visible.

I’ve never thought about it, but I imagine a fox barking would sound like a Sheltie barking. Is that close?
