Headed down to the coast to walk through the wild flower meadows at Durlston, with the wind blowing in from the sea and the skylarks singing.

Not exactly lush, these meadows. They are on thin stony ground near the cliffs. But the poor soil works to the wild flowers' advantage!

Such a magical place... Full of flowers and birdsong. If it wasn't for all the dogwalkers, I'd be convinced I had accidentally strayed into another century.

Aaaaaaaaah a proper meadow. It did me good to see that! i can't decide which flower I love best. Maybe the dog daisies.

Yes! I love the dog daisies on wild windy days when they won't keep still... Makes for some very blurred dynamic photos!
