Yes yes....... I didn't think I could be able to produce such stunning makeups for others, but even I am impressed with my works, even though I had absolutely no experience in it. If you look carefully at the picture, I was on the side instructing the clumsy girl how best to make the dude up such that he looks horrible, like hushy. But I must add, that I thoroughly deserved the award.

But Peter Jackson thoroughly deserved the award. They should deserve the best ensemble cast like with the Actors Guild awards (I think). There are so many good things in the movie, I am glad that it is breaking records now. Time to see whether Mel Gibson's much heralded movie will come close to this.

I think the movie should have been nominated for at least one more... the cinematography one for VERY obvious reasons! FOTR had a staggering 4 noms, so why shouldnt ROTK hv been nominated equally? But then, cannot be too greedy... rather to win all than to win just a few... hehehe

oh btw:

1. It's MakeUP, not makeUPS. Would be able to, not could be able to.

2. That 'clumsy girl' was part of an excellent makeUP team, which has just won an Oscar.

3. Trying to bitch others back in that many words in rebuttal to just one short phrase (which was enough to have an effect) AND which do not make sense, is just .... lame. Try harder. :)

Two thumbs up to Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Phillipa Boyd, all the casts of Lord of the Rings (from the suave Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom to the sweet Liv Tyler and Miranda Otto! Not to mention the hobbits and the ever good looking David Wenham and fantastic performance by Bernard Hill and Ian McKellen), Weta, New Line, Howard Shore and all the fans in the world!!!

Glenn, FANTASTIC PAGE you have here!!! Good job!! *big hugs*

The Extended Version ROTK DVD will be a spanning 4 hours movie!! How can we resist! Oh well, we have the LOTR exhibition in Singapore to look forward. PS: Anniex Lennox gave a stunning performance of "Into the West" at the Oscar.

One movie to rule them all,
Derek
