Scooty's out of town for the night, O is long asleep, and Pauline (the new rat) is making herself at home in my sweatshirt. Boy, does OG ever love this rat. I take her out of the cage and he is very reserved about actually touching her, but he squeals, shrieks, and laughs his heart out at her as she sits on my shoulder. "So soft ratty! So cute

It's so cool to be able to see all the things that he remembers from before he could talk. And I love the description of Sophie as "crying little tiny-teenager tears." :-)
