That is way too interesting! Did you bring some incense for Christmas? The church on the top of the pyramid at Cholula has a nice colour. The house my former husband and I had has been painted like that by us.
The cactee with the 32 year old tourist in front is imposing. ;)
Monte Alban reminds me of the places of archeological excavations I've been visiting in Greece.

...the man was not captured... [uninportant??] ... may I decline to answer this question??!!

Thanks for the nice trip. Looking forward to seeing more.

Oh yeah, yellow - people in hot countries use much more friendly colours than over here. Though we need them more in that climate. So, you must have had a beautiful house.

Yeah, you do not have to answer. We all know the answer anyway, don't we? ;) Of course, had Alan Rickman lived in the time of Toltecs, the stone might have looked a little different...
No, I have not just said that. Sorry, Mr. Rickman - bad joke at your costs.

*LOL* - Had you HUGGED that one, the difference might have become less obvious... thinking of Wilhelm Bush...

WOW - again really cool. Did you always want to see Mexico? Have you been to the States?

No, I had no idea that I needed to see Mexico. It was not on top of my list. But I am glad I took the offer - what a country!

And I have never been to the States, either. Not sure if I am interested any more. I think first I have to see Australia or Russia :)

Yes, it is not on mine either. However, I would love to visit the sites that you did.

Well if you change your mind, do come to CA and visit. ;)

Many people seem to make the mistake and only visit Mexico to lie at the beach...

Anyway, where exactly do you live? :)

Well, they had a huge working class who somehow had to manage. That was a great culture, when Germanic tribes were still sitting in trees. Sort of.

Slaves, you mean...

No, not slaves as in Egypt. Working class.

Those stone carvings are so interesting! And I'm puzzled by the Pyramids - how on earth did they manage to build them?
