Puck + ear ring = ?

Puck gets an ear ring and I have two version for this in my mind.

1) Puck gets the ring in his right ear, the gay ear. This is his way to out himself. Everybody ask him jokingly if he is gay or if he doesn't know the meaning of this ear. He says something like 'sure I know the meaning of the ear, idiots!' and then make heavenly out with Kurt in front of the school/gleeks.

This would be the funny version.

Or

2) Puck wants to get a ring in his right ear but at the end he chickens out. He can't do this. He can't hear all these taunts and jokes and... he isn't strong like Kurt. He only get a ring in his left ear. This will be his promise that he will find the courage to be out and proud. A promise that he will find the courage to ask Kurt for a date.

But as long as he doesn't have the nerve he can only see how Kurt kisses Blaine and hear the jokes of his 'friends' that he thank god didn't get an ear ring in the wrong ear. Yes, thank god, that he didn't get a ring in the wrong ear...

This would be the angsty prompt.
