Yeah I just checked it's cut but only when I'm logged out of livejournal, so I guess that's normal right? I just started using livejournal like 2 weeks ago so I haven't learned everything yet.

No, the cut only shows when you're logged out of LJ because of the community's 'adult content' settings. You need to follow these directions to do a cut:
