This is a lovely exploration of Mal's mind. This really rings true as picture of how she wound up in her father's line of work... and the genesis of her reaction to Limbo. Sad and brilliant.

Thank you! She's such an interesting character, I wish there was more written about her because everything I've read is fantastic!

I really like the backstory created for Mal in this -- I love the way she falls into the world of dreaming and how she's enamored by the unlimited possibilities. And then there was Dom and Mal falling into Limbo and how it's pretty much everything she wants. This fic just breaks my heart, but it's so lovely.
