Translation is foreign to US publishers, says the New York Times. An ironic article.

♣ I'm about to sign a contract with that publisher my professor put me in contact with. It's not a very exciting project, but it's interesting enough, and they pay well, and they are willing to wait until I finish my present work (the translation of the 3rd YAF novel).

The author of the YAF series I'm translating has replied to my questions. She was kind, and said that I have a very sharp eye. In fact, it was my collab who spotted most of the mistakes. I'm glad that everything could be solved

But frankly, their editor sucks, and they should hire my collab!!!!

My deadline for the translation of the YAF novel has been extended to Monday. I'm still not completely here (Cheshire Ptyx, you know), but there's something that I have to show you.
