I can't comment on LJ!

I'd like to thank all my lj-friends who greeted me for my birthday, but since the last changes I can't comment on LJ anymore! What can I do???

P.S. Fixed it! I had to deactivate my "https everywhere" extension.

WAS that the problem?! GODDAMN. It's been driving me crazy since mid-April! How did you find out about this? But thank you! Now that I know what it is, I can comment on Chrome again!!!

Yay, I'm so glad that I could help you!!! That's how I found out: first I thought that maybe the problem was that I had deactivated the Java plugin, but no, my Java plugin was on. Then I thought, maybe it's one of the Chrome extensions. And so I was going to deactivate them one by one. But I don't have many extensions, so the first that I deactivated was "Https Everywhere", and, yay, it worked! But I'm not very happy, you know. I have been using Https Everywhere for many months without any problem. And now because of LJ I have to deactivate it???

Yeah, its annoying >:( But I'd much rather just disable it when I go on LJ on Chrome and re-enable it when done. Much better alternative than opening up FireFox. That's what I've been doing when I wanted to comment. Thank you for solving the issue, though! I'm so glad I don't have to open up a separate browser to comment on LJ now.

It would be nice if we could exclude LJ from "Https Everywhere" without disabling it - but I don't know how to do it.

I also hope everything has been going well for you, hon! I've been okay, I just don't really have much of an online presence anymore. I keep wanting to come back to LJ, but then I get kinda overwhelmed, heh. I think I need to just narrow my flist down to my nearest and dearest friends, like you, then it'll be easier to check in more often and keep up. :)
