It's really interesting, because it seems to be a coincidence. From what I heard, in Brazil Mother's Day used to be celebrated on May 12nd. But in 1932, President Getulio Vargas established the official date in the second Sunday of May.

Sorry for being that late again. Here, we were celebrating Mother's Day last Sunday too. And I was rather busy, with my family in the morning and my in-laws in the afternoon. It was a lovely day, indeed!
During the past three days I was overwhelmed with work on my job. But today's a holiday and tomorrow I'm on vacation, so there's a few days for me to catch my breath again.
