The popular social networking website Twitter has been out of service for most of the morning. It's the first major outage the service has had in four months and possibly the first ever due to sabotage ( Read more... )

Hmm... Facebook worked okay for me, but I didn't log on till afternoon. Thanks for the heads up about notifications--I'll go check and see if I'm getting them.

Well, I believe the attacks happened when you were asleep! It was between 9-12 hours Brazilian time (GMT-3). Forgive me for not making the calculations - it's too early in the morning!

Ah, that could explain it. Certainly there was some coverage around already by the time I was up.

And no worries about not making the calculations. I'm not good at mornings, either. ;-)
