Thanks to the boycott, I now know the difference between the Brasilian and USian meanings of "to kick the bucket". *pleased*

*laugh* I'm afraid you misunderstood me. I mean that comment literally: I did not know the meaning of the Portuguese expression that translates into English literally as "to kick the bucket", but which has a radically different meaning from the English equivalent.

Oops, yes, it's not so much that I misunderstood you, but I misread you completely. I read something like "Thanks for the boycott (and so on)". I'm very stressed up.
