Why didn't anyone reply to my "rec me beautiful smutty Snarry" post? I'm curious, so I created this poll.

Honestly, I never think about smut, even when I'm reading a smutty story. I have read Snarry's that I've liked (a number of the Snarry Games stories come to mind), but the smut quotient is irrelevant to me *g*)

(my Snarry Games story has unconventional sex, but it's not a particularly long sex scene)

LOL! You're making me look like a perv. But seriously, I don't think of story in terms of smut either, but a badly written sex scene can ruin a story for me! And there are many writers who can write well, but can't write good sex scenes.

Length is not a problem ;-), but when you say "unconventional", what do you mean, exactly?

You said non-cliched and I don't know what that means to you. However, in a previous comment, you just said, 'badly written sex scene.' To me, badly written and cliched are not the same thing.

It seems to me you'd like long, well-written sex scenes. That's fine. I wish I could rec you something but I haven't read anything is a long time. The only thing I could rec you that fits the long, well-written sex-scenes criteria is 'The Boy Who Lived a Bit.' But it definitely was not written this year. Sorry not to be more useful.

Oh no, I have never said that "cliched" = "badly written". I myself have written cliched sex that I don't consider badly written. I like cliches. But yes, I want to read "non-cliched" sex scenes. That's what I'm craving now!

Désolée d'avoir tant tardée à répondre mais nous avons des orages avec coupures d'électricité.... je vais chercher mais dis moi, tu préfères du Snarry smut angst, humour... ?
Sinon, j'ai créé avec deux amies une communauté pour recommander la lecture de bonnes fics en français accio_fics

Actually, I'm at work, and can't do much careful smut screening *g* Also, I do tend to read the smut scenes uncritically, or even skim them unless I'm in a mood for that particular aspect ;)

I'll definitely be checking later, at home, to see what goodies your request has turned up, though.
