We don't celebrate Valentine's day in Brazil; we celebrate a "Sweethearts Day" in June. But since ebonyserpent sent me a card, which now you can see on her LJ (yes, it's a fanart rec!!!!), and patt_aguero sent me an e-card (thank you, sweetie), it seems that I am, indeed, celebrating it. So...

Is "Sweetheart's Day" similar to Valentine's Day? Valentine's is a really over-rated holiday here, but at least it's just for fun and you don't have to go crazy cooking a huge meal for the entire family, like at Christmas. *g*

Yes, it's just about the same thing, but it's mostly for those who aren't married yet. Married people can celebrate it, too, but it's not, let's say, required.

I think you're being too optimistic. I estimate that it will take at least two more weeks to finish it. (Today was a bad day, for instance, and I translated less than 500 words.) But what it matters is that I'm working on it :-)
