I've finished a first version of about 9,000 words, in Portuguese. But it's far, very far from ready. Things will have to be added and things will have to be cut. I'm not pleased with this version at all. I'll have to work a lot on it.

Oh, yay! Man you write fast. I've been working on a long fic for about 6 months now, and all I've got is 3000 words and a story plan. So much writer's block! :D

Anyway, I'm sure the fic'll be great when we get it, and I hope your edits make you happier with it.

Hee, yes, I write pretty fast, especially if you consider that I'm also working and preparing my Master Degree project, and that my eyes are not helping me very much, to use an euphemism.

Thank you, hon. The way it is now, I wouldn't post it. But sometimes my Muse helps me and I can make a bad story a passable one!

Good for you! But it sounds like lots of work ahead for you if your not pleased with the results. I know you will do it and do it well though!
Have a great night! I am tired and heading off to bed soon. My son had a gymnastic meet today and we left the house at 8:15 am in a blinding snowstorm. Got to the meet without any crashes. Didn't get home until 7pm!

Yep, it does sound like lots of work, and I don't know what's happening with my right eye, because it's photophobic again :(

Oh, it's true, I write fast, but I'm not in the mood for dancing yet. There seems to lack something in the story, and I'm not referring to smut (because it wasn't really planned to have any smut in it).

Sorry to read about your problems with your eye. Yet I understand, it is not necessarily an indication for any progression of glaucoma!? Hope, it will get better soon!

I think I'll let this story rest for some time. I have another plot bunny. I don't know, I'm feeling weird today. Confused.

I don't think it has anything to do with glaucoma. Or perhaps it's because I have to use so many eye-drops and clean my eyelashes twice a day because of the blepharitis -- maybe the eye is sore because of that. But it's better now, don't worry.

To our lovely language... acho que é normal essa sensação de que "falta alguma coisa" na história, ainda mais com uma tão longa como a que você escreveu. É bom deixar a musa meditar sobre o que já está escrito por um tempo, amadurecer a idéia, enfim, extrair dela o que você realmente quer dela. Sugestão esquisita? Talvez, desde que não usada em exagero, como eu faço...e que sempre acha que o que acabou de escrever está um lixo, e por isso demora quinhentos anos para finalizar uma fic!!o_O Tenho certeza de que ficará muito bom no final!^^

Ei, a história não é tão longa -- só 9.000 palavras. Para uma história policial, é curta demais. Acho que esse é o problema, não dá tempo de criar um "clima". Pois é, eu vou deixar a história de molho por uns tempos.

Não sei se vou conseguir responder teu email hoje, o tempo anda curto!
