Dude, my list consists of two chapters to my WIP, and two little ficlets. Man, that is sad.
You write so much you put everyone else to shame! :D
You know, I still don't think I've read the Spice Series. I think it's the Ginny that has me procrastinating. If anyone could make me like her, it's probably you, but her character just isn't one I typically enjoy reading. Then again, I could've read it and completely forgotten because I've been doing that lately. I keep re-reading fics without realising it, going to make a comment and realising I've read it a couple of months ago. Buh! Blast my memory. Even the most beautiful fics I'm forgetting.
:-) And if you think that English is not my native language, and that I lead a double life (everything I post in English I post in Portuguese too), it's really a lot.
About forgetting what you read, I understand. I'm completely different -- I usually remember every fic I read. But I know many people handles their reading differently, and I accept that. I find it funny when barely a week before a fic is released there are people already searching for it on search communities :D. I used to read a lot, so I was able to help many of those *desperate searchers*, but now I'm not reading fanfiction any more. Maybe it's just a phase, maybe not.
I've got a terrible memory for absolutely everything. Some really good fics I remember (ones that tend to stick in my head are Just Sex, anything by Telanu, and a bunch of other classics), but everything I read recently I have to favourite it to remember it, and even then I have to remember to check my favourites! I get my memory from my father, and I let him know on a regular basis it is entirely his fault. Seriously. I forget stuff seconds later. The only things I have a good memory for are a. lame jokes (you should hear my elephant-in-custard joke) b. quotes c. pointless Harry Potter trivia d. recipes e. television show trivia and f. photosynthesis but only because I learnt it every year for 7 years in school.
So, basically, I'm always amazed when I manage good grades. :D
Tentacle!sex? I'm partial to angry!sex myself. Give me anything as long as it's got rough, angry (and preferably up-against-a-wall) sex. Of course, I'll read stuff that doesn't, but mmmm....
Thank you! I'm sorry for your browser. My drive's too full, too, but I'm used to it. My PC is more than 7 years now, and I haven't made any major update besides ditching ME for 2000.
We'll have a small family dinner and nothing else. In fact, what I most would like to do after dinner is sleeping, but that will be impossible, due to the noisy fireworks :(
You write a lot, friend. Luck us, who read all that! \o/ \o/
Most importantly, though, they are interesting fics, short, long or in-between. There's always something unique to each fic, making each one of them unique itself. What a talent.
Too bad you can't write HP for a living. The only person who does that is bound to kill Snape, though, which I'm sure you wouldn't do!
I believe we have a very interesting year ahead of us... And that leads to more interesting fics!
Thanks for your kind words, friend! It's great praise, coming from one of my favourite writers.
I'm very excited about the prospect of book 7 being released on next July 31. If this turns out to be the case, I may change my plans just to be able to participate more in fandom. (I'm talking mainly about my plans of writing original books. I won't change my professional life or my postgraduation plans, of course.)
