Jason Isaacs is delicious

You know, I do think Jason Isaacs reinvented Lucius, and Lucius is much more interesting in the movies than in the books. The Leaky Cauldron has just posted a funny excerpt of an interview with Isaacs: here.

Lucius and Captain Hook are "...half a step away from drag queens!"

Ah, I do love Jason Isaacs! :)

Yesssss! He's so intelligent and clever, and he's totally charming when he mocks himself and the characters he play.

I never really thought about it, but you're right! Lucius is so...sexy...and interesting...and fascinating in the movies. He's much less dimensional and more just another creepy DE in the books.

Yes! I saw potential in Lucius in CoS (the book), but that wasn't developeed in the following books, while in the movies Isaacs has always added interesting details to the character.

Oh, how I do adore him!!!

I haven't seen any of Brotherhood, but he's doing another bad guy. Have you seen him in Passionada? OMG WONDERFUL. The best ever.

Nope. Brothehood isn't running in Brazil yet, and I haven't seen Passionada :(. Well, that means I have good things to look forward to!

I will so very gladly send you Passionada! It's not only a charming movie, but there's singing in Portuguese! You MUST see it!

Did you have to pay some kind of tax on the last dvd? r can I send it to you with no worries? (Except I think I gave my copy to somebody, which means I must get the library's dvd and make another copy.)

Oh, you're such a darling! I didn't have to pay any tax. But I'll ask my stepfather if our DVD system is the same that in US.
