Though I have a low calorie budget daily, I have undershot it a few times. On realizing I was under again today after finishing dinner, I sat back down and ate more. That was probably counterproductive LOL.

Just a suggestion but you might want to consider looking into the GAPS/select carbohydrate diet. Both of them deal with the relationship between the brain and the gut. The thought is that by removing irritants the isn't constantly fighting off pathogens and can focus on healing and not making you feel weird. It's kind of a radical diet but it works for some folks. There are lots of resources on it if it seems like something you are interested in. Good luck. Take care!

I hear ya. When the beloved wants to eat at 6:45 and I've been thinking "I get to eat at 6!" all day, it does make my synapses a little unstable!
