An ill wind blows (or is about to)

There is a man I am used to seeing most mornings on my subway platform. He has that clean scrubbed, precise look of a young investment banker / financial services professional. He is also normally seen with his boyfriend, who is of a similar type. They talk and laugh, standing very close together, face to face, and occasionally touch each other ( Read more... )

Mr. Eye-Candy sounds...um...well, that sure is cute. I hope he's NOT sketchy about being bi.

Enjoy the zaps. I have just battened down the hatches on our balcony in preparation for the potential storm hit.

One imagines a very handsome investment banker. Like most of them, pretty on the outside, a cesspit on the inside.

Paul: I can empathize with the "one-sided friendship" quandry ... which, as you intimated isn't a true friendship at all. Best to stop devoting your energy and time to them.

Most of my life and friends in it have been those I listen too, with little listening in return. I have since let those folks go and with no confrontation, I am just no longer available. I am friendly if we cross paths but never make plans to reunite.

Now mind you I have given this thought as we usually are not objective in our own lives; though we try. But as all things are just relative it is how I perceive my life and therefore act as I do.
