From time to time, my fingers wander to my ears and I start yanking at the strays growing out of the duct. One time, I pulled out what I think was a 1" long hair - eww.

I semi-regularly shave my ears. It's not hugely noticable, actually, because the hairs aren't dark -- unlike one of my former co-workers, who was just appalling. (He perpetually looked like Einstein with a bad hair day -- and I mean, worse than any photo you've ever seen of Einstein. Our center director's kid referred to him as "the clown man".)

Ya, for a lot of guys, ear hair is fairer than head (or nose) hair, and thus easier to miss. It also grows like all get-out, as my grandfather would have said.

And you think you have bushy eyebrows? Hush, chile. I have to give mine a # 1.5 every two weeks.
