I'm so naive about drugs. Like you, the only thing I got addicted to was nicotine, that I quit a decade ago. I had two employees that were always stoned on crack and I never knew it. Years later people were astonished I didn't know.

Vicodin and Percocet don't do anything even remotely fun for me. Vicodin works for medium pain, percocet works on pain like I had for a month last year. But recreation? I don't see it, I didn't feel it. If I use vicodin for more than a couple of days I'm so sick to my stomach that I'm puking every 5 minutes. That's fun?

I got seriously nauseous on the subway this morning. I thought I was going to vomit on everyone.

Vicodin makes me nauseous at times as well. Are you having the weird dreams?

That's what I do on vicodin. Nothing you can buy for stomach distress will help, it's systemic. I once sat and ate a whole bottle of Tums and it did nothing.

I learned to knit whil high on percocet when my leg was broken. It didn't make me high, it didn't make me horny, and I still felt the pain. But I didn't care that I was feeling pain.

Hope you heal quickly and are better soon.

I had a prescription for Vicodin after herniating a couple of discs in my neck, and I was so paranoid, I took 1/2 a pill per day, even though the prescription was for 2, twice a day.

That 1/2 pill did the job of making the shooting pains down my arm tolerable, and left me able to function. Didn't do anything else.
