Hello mudda, hello fadda, Here I am at, Camp Granada, Where the toilets, need their doors locked, So I don't get barged in on when brown things drop...
From what you wrote in your blog, your parents-in-law are really MILD compared to what I read on local forums here. Try staying with them permanent... think you might wanna a divorce eventually.
Those out there are hard-core MONSTERS-in-law! Yr in-laws' horror stories doesn't meet the atrocious standards (maybe only to you). You should thank ya lucky stars instead! Go read the forums, I bet you would be laughing here after.
Am sure many others out there have more to whine about their in-laws. So plssss! Spare a thought for your wife too! Her parents!
You're right, I know you're right. Even though I haven't read these forums, I already do know that I have it pretty good. For all their faults and inperfections, of which we all have, they are fantastic people with a great heart and I am truly blessed to have them.
But that being said, these are the only in-laws I've ever had, and it's not easy living under the same roof as them regardless of how good or bad they are. And soon we'll be staying with them permanently after they move back to SG in a year or two! Living with naggy old people with high expectations is never fun, whether it's my own parents or the parents of my wife, or any parents for that matter!
