The Phoenix Yum Cha

On Sunday we had a yum cha brunch with Viv at Rhodes Phoenix before she had to jet to the airport to catch her flight to the US. It's been quite a while since we've had yum cha and so our meal really did the job of hitting the spot. I looooove chee cheong fun, egg tarts, har gao, oh so many things I love about yum cha. We don't have mango pancakes but we have mango pudding, and no yum cha is complete for me without that!

Mango pancakes rock when the mango is sweet. I much prefer it to the mango pudding because the mango pudding is never sweet enough. The yum cha one also got not much mango taste I find. Hopefully you'll find a place with the pancake because it's so good! :)

Heehee, while I am reading this I am eating left over Siew Mai :D We went to Kam Fook at Chatswood for Mum's birthday yesterday.

haha, one think I love about Yum Cha at Kam Fook is they have the fried Shishamo, which is the fried fish that's full of eggs inside. The japanese fish. It's so damn good I hope you tried it!!!!

I'm sure you don't need to wait until the weekend for it :) I've always wanted to try yum cha in HK, just to see if the stuff we get locally is authentic or not..... I hear they have much more variety of stuff!

Just go run out at lunch and pig out :)

Mmmm.... I need to find a good yum cha place when I get back to SG. So far I think I've only tried it at one of the Crysal Jades at Nee Ann City.
