Christmas is tiring!

I feel like I could sleep for a week. The house is  a disaster. I have NO CLUE where all these new things we were given will go to live in my tiny row house. Two bikes, two Baby Alive- Learn to Potty's, clay that won't dry out, two 100 piece art kits ( Read more... )

(Oh, and last minute find the presents I had managed to hide on myself)

Boy, can I sympathize! I've found hidden presents long, long after.

My record for hidden presents is three years-- a skirt and sweater for my SisIL that I put in a large, hard to reach storage closet in my old apartment.

I'm just glad that I'm not the only one who does this, because Hubby harasses me all the time about it.

You're definitely not alone!

In fact, since I've been migrating all my stuff to Google, I'm starting to see the value of reminders and notes there. I left myself a reminder on GCal to go to Macy's on December 1st next year for our Frango Mint stocking stuffers, and *not* wait until the last minute when the mall is torturously crowded. Maybe next time I hide a present, I'll leave a note about that, too.

I haven't made much use of calendar reminders in the past because they were always stuck on one computer, and if I happened to be at a different computer (work, whatever) I couldn't see them. But with everything in one place and viewable from anywhere, it's starting to make more sense.

Thanks- I think I'll have to start doing something like an electronic calendar. I shamefully admit to having frequently lost my little calendar book on more than one occasion of late. I actually had to buy another 2009 one because I can't find the first one I've had since August!
