So we're up to date.  The PTA is entirely teacher-run, and the teachers have just been elected to a second term.  But you know what?  It's still my kid's school, I still have good relationships with the other parents I've met in PTA, and -- call me crazy -- I still have that hankerin' to do stuff.  I guess I'm just a fucking glutton for punishment

This is all about money. They are stealing from the PTA.

I am a PTA mom as well as a board member at my school.... and I sit hear mouth agape reading about your horrible experiences. I have never heard of a PTA being composed completely of teachers - that goes against everything the PTA stands for! And after reading about your experiences, I have complete and full understand of why this type of board should never be allowed to occur. Honestly, I can't believe the national PTA hasn't responded in some way - that is just ludicrous
