[Fakir walks the snow-covered ground of the castle. Despite the colder weather, being cooped up in the castle for so long has started to get to him. He managed to find a winter coat in a large wardrobe earlier and has now stepped out to get some fresh air

[ Ahiru happened to be out and about, herself. Though she was not nearly as bundled up in warm clothing for the weather as would be proper - noticeably lacking gloves and a hat.

She hadn't noticed Fakir yet. And she looked almost... thoughtful as she walked along. ]

Yeah, I'm---

[ And at about that moment, she realized where she was situated and scrambled to get off of him as quickly as possible. ]

Oh no! Are you okay!? I didn't mean to--!

[ Amidst her new bout of flailing, she ended up falling into the snow beside him, a puffy cloud of white haze flaring up from the impact. ]

[At about the same moment, Fakir realized where she was as well, his cheeks turning bright red as he sat up as quickly as he could.]

D-don't...!

[He stops his awkward response and looks down at her as the air around her slowly clears.]

...Hey. Get up.

[quacked_out]

[ She sputtered out the stray flood of flakes of snow that had flown into her open mouth, slowly sitting up and wrapping her arms around herself with a shudder. ]

...Okay. Now 's cold...

[knightxwriter]

[He frowns a bit in annoyance, but his mood quickly becomes more uncomfortable as he sizes up the situation.]

You need to get the snow off, first of all...

[He starts brushing what he can off her nearest shoulder.]

O-Oh! Right!

[ And as if Ahiru just needs to do the most ridiculous thing at the wrong moment, she frantically shakes her head back and forth.

Which... removes the snow from her hair as intended. But also gets it it all over the person who just happened to be helping her get it off. ]

[Yes, it certainly does and he seems a bit irritated by it.]

Moron...

[He pulls his hand away from her and brushes off his face, starting to work on the rest afterward.]

[ And once she finally realizes what she was doing, she ceases - and looks appropriate sheepish. ]

Er, um. Sorry.

[ With that, she raises one hand to dust off her other shoulder and arm. ]

[He glances away from her upon seeing that look, now frowning awkwardly.]

You don't need to worry about it.

[With that, he stands up, extending an arm down to her.]

Come on. You need to stand up to get the rest off.

[quacked_out]

But I got it all over y---

[ She cuts off and gives a slow blink at the extended hand before hesitantly placing hers in it. ]

...Okay.

[knightxwriter]

It's fine, all right? It comes off easily enough.

[He helps her stand before focusing on getting the rest of the snow off of himself. He couldn't really assist her with that at this stage, he noted with embarrassment.]

[ Once she's back on her feet - and not near that icy patch in the path - Ahiru follows suit and finishes brushing her jacket and clothing off, giving her head one more good shake to make sure there's no snow clinging to her long braid.

She then brushes her hands as though she's accomplished something, smiling tentatively. ]

See? It's not that bad! Just a little wet 'n cold is all.

[Fakir sighs, finally finishing ridding himself of as many of the white flakes as he can.]

That is bad. That's the easiest way to get sick out here.

[quacked_out]

[ Once she's done cleaning off the remaining remnants of snow, she crosses her arms, smile curving down into a bit of a pout. ]

I'm not gonna get sick. It's not like I was taking a nap in the snow or something.

[He gives her a small but stern frown in response.]

If you keep standing out here like that you will.
