Who will stand with me?

Last week, dork_grrl posted about a woman standing on the corner in downtown Escondido holding up "No on Prop 8" signs. As an Escondido resident, I was amazed that she did this; this is a very conservative pocket of San Diego County. I was impressed

if i still lived in escondido, or anywhere in california for that matter, there would be a sign posted for "vote NO! on prop 8" in my yard/window/bumper.

I stand on this corner every day with her..she is amazing and sweet and like all of us, deserves to have the same rights we all do...to be happy and free and to love and marry whomever she choses!

look for me and my adopted brood!!! we are there from 2-6 everyday (mostly)

i would be standing there too if i still lived there. however, i am now in portland. it be a wee bit difficult!

i completely agree that every one deserves the same rights regardless of gender, race or creed. marriage is a love union. the aforementioned classifications of people shouldn't matter.

gods, i hope prop 8 goes down in flames. if it does i suspect other states will follow california in legalising same sex marriages.
