The Challenge

Goal 1: 3 hours / week on a personal project: Should grad school count? I'm taking two online courses this summer. They're intellectually stimulating. Just time consuming.

Congrads on the weight loss. My Economics of Information post was uninspired I think. It took me forever to do, since I wasn't really sure what to write. I've realized that unlike the vast majority of economists, I see a ton of market processes as evolutionary: competition, innovation, institutions, governmental, even personal decision making and preferences. Perhaps I should write an essay on just that.

I'm surprised that more economists don't see markets as evolutionary. It seems very natural to me.

Once you see that given any system with reproduction, selection, and mutation, you MUST have evolution, you start to see it everywhere.
