Srs Jack can be very srs!

There's just something about watching these two old souls discuss their existences. I love this chapter for it. You handled it so well, and, honestly, I believed every word the Doctor said about envying Jack for his ability to remain the same person after dying. Very heartfelt chapter, with of course a bit of obligatory flirting from Jack. But more heartfelt, so bravo to him, lol.

I get more and more excited about this story with each chapter. I CANNOT WAIT for next week!

YES! I adore Flirty, Fun Times Jack, but srs!Jack is soooo adorable and sexy, too. I have craved more heartfelt scenes with him and 10 that sadly never came, although their scene together in Utopia was (very nearly) enough to satisfy! I so wanted to get the balance right and I absolutely love their scenes together. Writing Jack is practically effortless--he just writes himself! And I got to satiate a bit of my own need for Doctor-Jack catharsis.

I am so glad that you are so enthusiastically on board with this! :D
