Maybe it's because the anniversary of tEoT approaches, but I've been missing Ten terribly of late. And I adore Jack. This was just what I needed, and a good cry as well. Just perfect!

Oh, thank you so much. I'm glad I could provide one-stop shopping for you! I've desperately wanted to write Ten/Rose, Jack--but this seemed like the only feasible way to do it. The lead-in story to this wasn't emo at all, but this one definitely had to be. I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for letting me know :)

Oh giiiirrrrllllll....this was so good! *sigh* Poor Jack, poor Ten...poor everyone. Why does it make me happy to to read something so sad? Actually, I like the idea that Ten got a boost from Jack, and knew that it'd all work out in the end. *sniffle* I'm off to read some more...I'm not sure if I can handle the rest of your 'angst' tag though...

Thank you for writing this. It's a beautiful sequel to your other story. I love how you tell this from Jacks perspective mostly and of the hope he gives the Doctor during the year that never was. Wipes away a few tears but this is angst that I love and its incredibly well written.

I was a little nervous at first because it's a rather angsty sequel to a raucous adventure!smut story. I was afraid it might not have been what people expected and surprise or put off some. So I'm very glad you enjoyed it. Ten just seems to have this preternatural awareness that his clever!plan will work in Last of the Time Lords and this sought to explain why.
