It would have to… Poor Eleven. Fics like this make me feel so sad for him. Lovely story, I am so happy the Doctor went and did something about his mistakes from GITF.

I always hated the emotional mess that GITF would have left behind, so I love reading stories like this. Nice one :)

Thanks! Yeah, my head snaps back watching the DVDs in order. We go from School Reunion to GITF and then Cybermen--and everything's fine??? After that shot of her, staring off into the distance of space, crying--left behind??

Aww I like it! Frankly I like anything post-GITF that leads to some sort of emotional resolution. Worst. Episode. Ever.

Thank you! I've read a few post-GITF 10/Rose "discussions," and I wanted to do my own, but I could never wrap my head around Ten's motivation enough to properly write anything believable for him. I just personally find the whole thing so indefensible I stall out. So, I figured that using 11 would be easier.

I'm so glad you liked it. I felt a lot of catharsis in writing it.

Awww, thank you so much! I'm so glad you find it a worthy fix-it-fic. A re-watch of GITF just made me so angry I HAD to do something. Also, I agree--there seems to be almost a total hand-wave in series 5 surrounding almost everything from the RTD era. So, writing this made me feel better, too! Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it!
