[How does one use a book to call anyone, really?]

Doctor Seward? It's Alice Liddell. If I could have a moment of your time, I would greatly appreciate it.

[Even curiouser as to how one uses a phonograph, really.]

Erm, yes...Miss Liddell. How may I be of service?

You told me once that you were a psychiatrist, correct?

I am indeed.

[She sounds uncertain.]

I was hoping to speak with you about...possibly seeking some professional counsel from you.

And what, pray tell, do you feel is wrong which would warrant professional counsel, Miss Liddell?

[There's a sincere yet lighter tone to his own words, as he'd rather she not think ill of him, especially when her trust was already so fragile when doctors were concerned.]

There isn't anything wrong at the moment. It's simply...

[How to phrase it, even--]

It's simply that I'd rather be certain that everything is all right. That's all.

Wouldn't you much rather have a..regular doctor?

I know you hold disdain for the kind of...Mental physicians you are used to...

[Psychiatrists, in other words. He's just looking out for her. Typical Seward.]

It's my mental state that troubles me, actually... But you're making it out to seem as though you shouldn't be trusted.

You seem to be a righteous man and a good doctor. I'll take my chances, if you'll have me.

No, I-I hadn't meant to..Ah, forgive me...It's just that I'd rather you be comfortable, Miss Liddell. But of course your state of mind is what's important!

[Not that there's much to be comfortable about if you've already been dissected by doctors on a regular basis.]

I am honored you would consider that to be so. I would not turn you away...Is there a particular time that would be most convenient for you?

It's quite all right. I don't know the usual proceedings for something like this. Therapy has always been...forced, you could say.

[Bumby was very insistent on their sessions after she left the asylum.]

I'm free on Thursdays and Fridays.

[A sad thing, really. Therapies had their uses.]

Do you favor mornings or afternoons?

Mornings, if that's all right.

Certainly. Would Thursday morning suffice? 10 o' clock? Or something earlier?

That sounds perfectly fine, actually.

Very good then. I shall see you at 10 on Thursday then.

[ooc: Should I put up a log? :3 ]
