Carmel is a very cute little town with a beautiful beach. It was January, but plenty of people were on the sand playing. I sat in the sun and talked, walked. Paradise. Some may prefer Hawaii, but California beaches are my happy place. Also, there's Southern Italian food there, which I don't really eat in Seattle and miss dearly
