Be cool, be cool... not like I'm trying to steal your pot of gold or anything.

[Why yes, that was a leprechaun crack.]

[Chase makes his way over to the gym, not really in a fantastic mood lately; he's got his balisong in his pocket and he's ready to rock. He owes Erol some punches, anyways...]

[This requires cultural references Erol doesn't have, Chase. And he's studiously avoided the cracks Cadence makes at him, so he's absorbed precious little about the leprechaun business.

When Chase shows up, Erol doesn't waste time. Wordlessly he makes an arrow-straight line for the adolescent, eyes gleaming murder. One knife is out - he's saving the rest.

Sometimes Erol's anger makes him lose focus. Right now it's made everything sharp and clear as if cut with glass. He's in complete overdrive and he's never been more dangerous than he is right now.]

[The arrow-straight lines were the easiest to dodge, Erol - you should know that. He knew Erol meant business and Chase was in a fight picking mood; an incredibly stupid fight picking mood, at that. Case and point being; he went and he picked a fight with the Commander of all people. It was a fight that, going into, he should have known he couldn't win.]

[But try telling Chase that.]

[The rebel without a cause that he was, his beloved balisong was out in an instant and ready to bite into Erol if the opportunity presented itself. Chase would be counting the hits. He backed up considerably and gestured with both hands for the Commander to come at him again as he did so, made immediately arrogant by the first dodge.]

That all you got? C'mon--

[He should have known better - but like any gored matador, Chase thought he knew how to handle the bull.]

[Oh, he knows that, Chase. He wouldn’t have earned his ink if he didn’t know THAT ( ... )
