i, like you, have never read the book, but i saw the movie and honestly dont understand what all the frenzy is about. its a fictional book and brown has always said that it is indeed fictional. as long as you take it as such, then its no big deal. knowing what is fiction in the movie/book does help quite a bit though. that website is pretty good. i have something else called "the da vinci code: a companion guide to the movie" that i got at cornerstone umc in auburn that is also pretty good.
