I can't believe that, John McCain was giving his big speach at the end of the four day GOP convention and some 'angry left' extremist who managed to sneak into the event and was in the crowd tore off her dress to reveal a pink undergarment scrawled with what I guess was politically charged grafitti. It's happened before. There was the fellow who got tazed at a John Kerry speech, the guys who came to a Hillary Clinton rally telling her to do their ironing, and more recently someone who showed up at a Barack Obama event and loudly demanded the Pledge of Allegiance be said.

Terrorism is a political method usable by anyone. Anarchists and fascists are just about poles apart in their philosophies, so make up your mind.

I think you'd get some weird looks and possibly an argument but that's about it. There have been Conservatives in the pride parade in recent years who have gone miraculously un-egged. Mike Harris, in his time, felt it was safe enough to eat at Bigliardi's a fair bit. Hell, John Baird manages to show his face there now and again without incident. So being stabbed through the heart with a drag queen's stiletto heel is most unlikely - unless you make fun of their makeup as well.

Protesting a speech isn't terrorism. I don't think it was a very smart or effective sort of action by whoever it was, but terrorism it wasn't. Terrorism = the application of violence to create terror in service of a political end. Screaming and getting yourself dragged away by a rent-a-cop isn't too very violent or terrifying.
