Gender differences in Sexual Desire

Mar 15, 2007 12:07

Today's post on differenceblog is about the difficulty of creating a psychological measure to evaluate sexual desire. There are many such measures available, with various strengths and shortcomings. The common stereotype is that men have a higher sex drive than women, but this has not been found consistently on all factors with all measures. Anyone with experience studying sexual desire or sex drive is invited to comment on the measures they've used, and what they thought of them.

differenceblog is a daily feature on the study of gender differences.
