Okay, so I feel like it's time to unveil some things. First a nasty little darkfic, and second, my most recent drawing. Ugh, it's been too long since I picked up a pencil. I'm so very, very rusty. I was, however, pretty pleased at how this turned out, both the drawing and the fic. Enjoy

That was just so dark and lovely.
I've read this twice now and I am just so goddamned impressed. Really liked the way you intercut the flashbacks. Psychotic Angel was frighteningly plausible. The Buffy thing caught me by surprise. And bonus for Kate! I miss Kate...
Thanks.
Back to pounding away at NaNoWriMo.

Yay you for actually doing that NaNoWriMo thingy.

I loved the fact that even though Angel was being Mr. Psychotic, you could feel the frustration over losing Cordelia... And that ending!
I loved it... =) Dark and completely perfect!

The horse is just beautiful. I love paint ponies! You made him look so soft and you did a good job with his nose. It's hard to do their faces straight on and get the perspective right.

It was hard getting the color changes to look right, which resulted rather unintentionally in that actual "furry" look. Of course once one section looked that way, I had to do all of it like that. (Happy accidents rule)
I'm not perfectly happy with the mane, but I'm so glad the nose turned out and the eyeballs were even. It had one brown, one white eye which is why the irises are a bit different. Doing the color change on the nose was difficult too, because I kept losing the detail. I think noses were the last thing I figured out how to do. They are so complex and convey so much of a horses personality. It's hard to translate that velvet quality onto paper.
Thanks!

You know I think this ficlet's great - just the right amount of dark, twisted and terrifying for an evening in. ;-) It's gonna give me nightmares and I love it.
Thank you! *mwah*

The drawing is, of course, beautiful. You know I think you're brilliantly artistically talented. I love horses. They're wonderful, gentle, noble creatures. It's all in the eyes... ;-)
