Sunday Afternoon - Echolls Residence

Dec 04, 2005 08:51

Logan returned from Wonka's Candy Shop just as the Christmas tree was delivered. Logan directed them to set it up in the living room.

He flopped down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch Scrooged while waiting for the decorations to be delivered.

Jenny showed up at the door to Logan Echolls' house with her laptop case over one shoulder, and carrying a bag of supplies for the disinvitation spell.

"I hope I got the right place," she said, ringing the doorbell.

Logan shrugged. "You're the expert here. Pick one."

Elizabeth snickered, and followed Parker towards the candy, only limping slightly. "Miss Calendar is...?" she asked in a low voice.

"Our new psych teacher, instead of Crazy Squid Lady. Also, Romany. Gypsy. And she knows some magic, so, Logan's getting a big 'do not enter' slapped on the house." Parker took one of the candies, and considered it while her mun goes to look up the list of possibilities from Wonka.

"Ooh, new psych teacher," Elizabeth grinned, looking across at Jenny. "I might actually take psych next semester if she's teaching it."

She looked over the candies, whilst her mun also went to look up the list

"I've been trying to decide on classes for weeks. Criminal Justice, because Frasier's having too much fun in there. More languages; maybe Japanese and Chinese this time. Speech 301. After that, I'm not sure, but I only want to take four classes," Parker said. "Not Ethics. Too much of a time-suck and a drama quotient." She popped the divinity in her mouth, then turned to Jenny. "Do you need any help with this? Or can we just watch?"

Elizabeth bit the head off one of the penguins. "Yeah, me too," she said. "Keeping on with Speech, and Western Lit. Professor Chaucer wants me to take his poetry class as well, although that quite frankly scares me. I want to add criminal justice too, and I'm thinking that maybe I should take a language this time around." She laughed. "I have no clue how many classes I'm going to end up taking; I just seem to see something that interests me, and go "ooh." I'm awful."

"I know. But I've got Student Council, and Honor Society, and Investigators Club, hopefully, and I have to get Gun Club better organized next semester, so... four classes only. And yeah, maybe Psych." Parker grinned, watching Carol Kane yell at Bill Murray, then said, "I heard we might have a different Diplomacy and Negotiations teacher next semester too, so, maybe that as well. We'll see."

"The sad thing is? Even extra-curricular activities won't stop me," Elizabeth grinned sheepishly. "When the weather's better, I want to talk to the coach about getting a track team sorted perhaps. I mean, there's only really ice-hockey and wrestling for sporting extra-curriculars.

I think I'm going to wait and see what's offered and when. I might change my mind if something's on at 9am Monday mornings!"

She looked at Parker curiously. "What's Investigator's Club? And the mun wants to know about the Honor Society."

"Zero's club to investigate the weirdness around school," Parker says carefully. "She was staring with the gremlins, and probably loking at Locker 327, although *not* by jumping in again. And...." She bites her lip. "Marty and I were thinking it'd be a good way to get students who are *not* like some of the JA types together. Would you want in?"

"I really do need to join the Fencing Club or the Hockey Team. Or track, if you get that up and running. I'm still working out, but it's more fun in a group."

Elizabeth grinned. "I think I'm already in it; I just knew it as Zero's club though," she said. "But, yeah, count me in most certainly."

She nodded. "I like skating, and I like field hockey, but if you put it together as hockey, then it's a no go for me," she said. "As well as the fact that I did run cross country for years, I thought track would be good because you don't need to get an entire team like you would for football or anything.

You should come running with us in the mornings when we manage to post it."

"Great." Parker smirked. "I played field hockey at my last school, but ... I think I'd just like to watch for a while. Some of those players are hardcore." She sighed. "I *wish* we had a martial arts team, but I'll take what I can get." She looked perplexed for a moment. "Running? In the morning? How early are we talking?"

Elizabeth nodded. "Yeah, me too," she paused and grin. "Well, a couple of schools ago. We pretty much run when we get up... earlier on the days the others have criminal justice, but I guess seven, eight is a pretty good estimate I hope!."

"Some pushy bitch with no sense of boundaries," Logan said without malice.

Parker considered that, then shrugged, still smiling. "Yeah, I might know her." She took one of the strawberries and popped it in her mouth. "Mmmm. Wonka's?" she asked, after she swallowed it. "And Scrooged. Heh. I love this movie."

"Hey, Parker," Angela says. "I still haven't been to Wonka's shop." Her hand hovers over the candies before she selects a chocolate penguin. "Mmmm," she says, her mouth full. "I need to change that, like, soon."
