Angel could lurk. He was good at lurking. He was currently lurking by the nurses' station, watching Callisto through the window to her room 'cause hey if canon provides good blocking for this sort of scene why not use it

Callisto fumbled with the water cup, all this talking was making her throat hurt. "Why? Was what you wanted."

Angel got the cup for her. "That was never what I wanted."

Callisto sipped at the water gratefully, before raising an eyebrow. "Coulda fooled me."

"Like it's news I'm bad at expressing myself?"

"Told me to get. I got."

"Not like that," Angel said. "Never like that."

"No." Callisto's lip curled into a sneer. "You'll just let Logan kill me."

"I wouldn't have let that either!" Angel snapped. "This isn't the way. It's sick and a poison and it's wrong."

"Did you know?" Callisto asked flatly. "No lies."

"Rather die me, than live as someone else."

"And you did nothing." It wasn't a question. "Unless you frakked him for being a clever little houseboy. Did you?"

"This would be why things have to change," Angel said. "Statue of limitations on you throwing that in my face has long expired."
